Legent AI is a product of Algrologic. We built this tool to help people transform and localize their resumes for job applications worldwide. Because your resume contains some of the most personal information you own — your career history, your contact details, your identity — we take how we handle that data seriously.

This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it. We have written it to be read by a real person, not just a lawyer.

What Data We Collect

Resume content. When you upload or paste your resume, we receive everything in it — your name, contact information, employment history, education, skills, and any other personal details you have included. This is the core data our service processes.

Email address. We collect your email when you create an account. We use it to identify your account and communicate with you about your service.

Payment information. When you purchase a plan or credit, payment is processed by Paddle, our payment provider. We never see, receive, or store your raw card number, bank details, or full payment credentials. What we receive from Paddle is confirmation that a transaction occurred and its status.

Usage data. We log which countries you selected for localization, which templates you used, and how many transformations you ran. This helps us understand how people use the product so we can improve it.

IP address and basic analytics. We collect your IP address and standard browser and device information (browser type, operating system, page views) for security, abuse prevention, and understanding general usage patterns. We do not use advertising trackers or build behavioral profiles for ad targeting.

How We Use Your Data

To deliver the service. Your resume content is sent to our AI processing system to perform the transformation you requested. This is the primary and dominant use of your data.

To manage your account. Your email address is used to identify your account, send you transactional emails (receipts, password resets, service updates), and respond to your support requests.

To process payments. Your billing information — handled entirely by Paddle — is used to complete the transaction you initiated.

To improve the product. Aggregated, non-personally-identifiable usage patterns (which countries are most requested, which features are used most) help us prioritize what to build next. We do not analyze the content of individual resumes for product improvement.

For security and fraud prevention. IP addresses and usage logs are used to detect and block abuse, unauthorized access, and fraudulent activity.

We do not use your data to serve you advertisements. We do not sell your data to anyone. Ever.

Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell or rent your data to any third party. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the product:

Anthropic. Your resume content is transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API for AI-powered transformation. Anthropic processes this data according to their own privacy policy and API usage policies. They are not permitted to use API-submitted data to train their models by default. You can review Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com.

Paddle. Payment processing is handled by Paddle, a global merchant of record. Paddle receives the payment information you provide at checkout and handles all billing, invoicing, and tax compliance on our behalf. We receive only transaction confirmation. Paddle's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.

Supabase. Our database and backend infrastructure runs on Supabase, a cloud database provider. Your account information and processed resume data are stored in a Supabase-hosted database. Supabase operates as a data processor under our instructions and does not use your data for their own purposes.

Beyond these three providers, your data does not leave our infrastructure unless we are legally required to disclose it — for example, in response to a valid court order. If that situation ever arises and we are legally permitted to notify you, we will.

How Long We Retain Your Data

Resume content. Raw uploaded resume content and the transformed output are retained for 30 days after your transformation is completed. After that window, the content is permanently deleted from our systems. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

Account data. Your email address and account record are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your account data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or financial compliance purposes — for example, transaction records required for tax reporting.

Payment records. Transaction records (amount, date, plan purchased) are retained for as long as legally required for financial and tax purposes. Raw payment credentials are never stored by us.

Usage and analytics data. Aggregated usage data is retained indefinitely in anonymized form. IP logs are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes.

Your Rights Over Your Data

Regardless of where in the world you are located, we recognize the following rights and will honor them:

Access. You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Correction. If any of your personal data is inaccurate, you can ask us to correct it.

Deletion. You can request that we delete your account and the personal data associated with it. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Portability. You can request that we provide your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Objection. You can ask us to stop processing your data for a specific purpose, and we will assess and respond to that request.

We may ask you to verify your identity before processing a request, to ensure we are not disclosing or deleting another person's data.

Cookies and Analytics

We use a minimal set of cookies necessary to operate the service — session management and authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

For analytics, we collect basic usage data (page views, feature usage, session counts) to understand how the product is being used. This data is aggregate and is not linked to personally identifiable profiles for the purpose of advertising or sale.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your ability to log in and use the service.
